typhoon brewery
Typhoon Brewery is a new project that aims to bring real ale to ex-pats in Hong Kong. The brief was to capture the essence of Hong Kong beer and reflect an upmarket finish to the beer. We tried many concepts incorporating red and gold, as these are considered lucky in Hong Kong, and established symbols in the origin of the beer. Eventually the client wanted to use the international map symbol for a hurricane to represent the name and also move towards a warmer colour scheme.
